Tennessee Front Patio Becomes a Year-Round Retreat with Pergola X
Overview.
For many homeowners, finding the perfect house is all about discovering that one special feature. For this Middle Tennessee resident, the front patio was the dream – a welcoming space to relax, entertain, and enjoy the neighborhood. But despite its charm, the patio was rarely used. The intense sun, muggy afternoons, and unpredictable weather made it hard to enjoy the outdoors as originally envisioned.
The Challenge.
The homeowner wanted to reclaim the front patio as an everyday living space. The goal was to create an environment that could be enjoyed in all seasons. Cool and breezy in the summer, warm and inviting in the winter, and comfortable even on the sunniest Tennessee days.
The Solution.
StruXure designed and installed a fully integrated pergola system directly onto the home’s existing structure. The custom Pergola X was equipped with adjustable louvers, allowing the homeowner to control exactly how much sunlight filters onto the patio. Integrated fans provide refreshing airflow on hot afternoons, while discreet heating elements keep the space cozy during cooler months.
